Donkeys are wonderful animals

Donkeys are magnificent animals Donkeys are magnificent animals, they are highly intelligent, inquisitive, sensitive, cautious, stubborn and they have also got an incredible memory. With a highly developed sense of self-preservation, they are super independent and will only want to do the thing that they feel is safe and in their best interest. They don’t like being on their own and should live as a pair or in a group. Often, if there’s a nervous horse, a donkey can have a calming effect on them so they get fielded together. Donkeys originated from the desert and their ears can also help them to keep cool. They came to England with the Roman invasion of Britain in 43CE. Donkeys today come in a variety of sizes and colours, the most common is grey, then brown, black, with a combination of colours.
