Developing a Bond

More people are sharing their lives with companion animals and will often see them as members of the family. The Human-Animal Bond is important to the health and well-being of both the animal and their guardian.

The bond is a dynamic relationship between people and animals that helps to positively influence the health and well-being of both.

Many people will experience loneliness at some point in their lives which can have a significant impact on their well-being.

Older people can experience positive mental and physical effects by bonding and connecting with companion animals.

Take Action

Recycle Ink Cartridges

Did you know that you can help us raise funds simply by recycling your ink cartridges via our Recycle4Charity programme?

Join Our Fostering Network

One of our long-term goals is to open a rescue and rehoming centre for cats. To support this, we are building our fostering network of people who can offer temporary accommodation for vulnerable cats. We’re looking for committed fosterers who can open their hearts and homes to animals in need. If you would like to register your interest in becoming a foster carer, please click here. Thank you.

Free Infographic - The Five Freedoms

An animal’s welfare should be considered in terms of ‘five freedoms’. These freedoms define ideal states rather than standards for acceptable welfare. We have created a free downloadable PDF The Five Freedoms, which includes information about the five freedoms.
