About Fostering

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Treat me Kind Foster carer. We are always keen to work with compassionate, dedicated, and loving people who would like to help those animals in need.

Foster carers are unique individuals who dedicate their time and love helping vulnerable animals who need it the most.

Fostering an animal

Fostering is a wonderful way to help animals in need of a good and loving home. We are relying on people to help us by providing a temporary home for the animals in our care. By becoming one of our fosterers you are directly helping these animals in need and giving them a gift of a loving and happy home.

By helping you are also allowing us to have an extra space for another animal in need.

Would you like to foster?

Many animals are looking for a new start in life and by opening your home and heart can be the best gift for them.  Living with a foster family can help animals during their rehabilitation and help build their confidence.

Every animal is unique, each with a different personality and needs, but we want to be there for each one of them and with your help we can work hard to help these animals. Fostering is very rewarding and gives hope, love, kindness, and care to these felines, especially during their twilight years

Many people choose to foster rather than adopt due to many reasons and commitments.

If you are interested in becoming a foster guardian when we open our doors, please complete our Register my interest form

With your permission, we would like to keep you up to date with our work, any developments on our rescue rehoming centre and to stay in touch with you.

When we eventually open, we will be in touch to start the fostering process including fostering application form.

We will be introducing a 3-step process by our fostering committee, which are.

First stage – a phone call from the rehoming centre and the foster application process begins.

Second stage – a home visit and initial consultation approval stage begins.

Third stage – registered foster carer approval.

Every foster carer will receive ongoing support from the rehoming centre. The health and safety of our fosterers, staff and volunteers is of the upmost importance. Due to the current COVID-19 current crisis we will not be able to offer fostering to those homes where a member of the household   is showing symptoms of or has confirmed case of Covid-19. Or has been identified as clinically extremely vulnerable or is shielding.

Thank you for considering fostering and we hope to hear from you soon.
